Visiting the Sick
Visiting the sick is a right every Muslim holds over another, and a long-standing part of community life.
The Prophet ﻼ taught that a Muslim has several rights over another, among them to visit the sick and to follow funeral processions. As our community grows and our lives get busier, it is easy to lose touch — sometimes a brother or sister is unwell for months before others find out.
How it works
To help address this, the Centre runs a simple system: those who are ill (or their families) can notify the Centre, and community members can sign up to visit them in an organized way.
Request a visit or volunteer
Contact the office to let us know of someone who is unwell, or to join the visiting roster.
