Meet the Imam

Mufti Abdulmannan Mulla serves as the Imam of Masjid Usman and Director of Religious Affairs at the Pickering Islamic Centre. He teaches Arabic language, Seerah, Fiqh and Hadith, answers religious queries, and provides ongoing guidance to the community.

He holds multiple ijāzas (licenses) in the Islamic sciences and is authorized to issue fatwa from Dār al-'Ulūm al-Madania (Buffalo, USA), where he graduated with distinction in 2008. He has previously taught advanced Islamic studies — Arabic literature (Adab), jurisprudence (Fiqh) and Hadith — at Dar al-Ulum Canada (Chatham), and takes a keen interest in youth and community education.
